Bovallstrand --» Saxen 58 20 95

Today we moved down south again with new crew member onboard. We passed the channel again and saw some really nice old well treated wooden boats.
The target today was a new nature harbor just south of Kungshamn, Saxen.
Here we found a nice safe place to tie up the boat.
Now we just had a nice BBQ with some wine )))
The night seems to be little windy but the direction is good is it stayes as predicted.

Alvö --» Bovallstrand

Took a normal harbor for this night to pick up a friend who will participate for some days. The village is small and nice.
The fishing seems to be really good now. The neighbors got so many mackerel now so they asked around the other boats to have some. I took three and will put them on the grill tomorrow. Now they sleep in the fridge...
Not so many boats here even if it is weekend but many use nature harbor when weather is good. We will try one tomorow night. Let's see what happens )))

Otterön --> Alvö 58 27 90

Time to turn around and slowly move south again. Third nature harbor in a row... new record )))
But the weather is perfect for this. This harbor is new of us but well described in the binders I bought earlier on vacation. Little expensive, 110€, but after three nights money is payed back ))) Normal fee in a marina is 40€/night inclusive electricity for battery charge. For shower you have to put 50 cent for 3 minutes of shower. Toilets are free )))

Gluppö --> Otterön 58 39 30

Time to move again and now we found Otterön, also this a nature harbor. I have been there before and it´s a nice place in a small bay which is safe for almost all winds. Friends boat needed some repair also so they made a dive to look on the propulsion.

On the way from here we visited Grebbestad to Fill up the fridge, shower and fill up fresh water. Lots of commercial on the dock but I bought nothing.... even if there was sooo nice sailing clothes.... But a cat I saw, resting like a cat can do )))))

Bohus Malmön --> Gluppö 58 34 85

Now wind established in normal strength. Neighbors gone home and we follow our friends in the other boat to Gluppö. It´s a nature harbor big enough for over 100 boats. Very popular in all wind directions.

On the way we passed a channel called, Sonenäs Channel. It contains a bridge which are open in periods.
  

Bohus Malmön, three days....

Stayed in Bohus Malmön for three days because of heavy wind. During this time we also got some company of my neighbors )))

St. Kronö --> Bohus Malmön

Nice transport to next harbor. Nice low wind some part and Itried to fish and got 2 mackerel
No other special happening except for the normal good weather ))))
Sailed all part without engine.
In harbor all people make BBQ for evening dinner and we also grilled the mackerel, very nice ))))

Skärhamn --» Stora Kornö

Again a nice sailing with nice wind :-)
Sun also burn my face but unfortunately it is to cold to take of jacket and shirt....
Today autopilot again went broken but I succeed to repair it my self :-P
Now we have entered th land of pink rocks. Over a sertain point all islands have no treef, only rocks and here it is the color more on the pink way :-)

Hyppeln --» Skärhamn

Weather was nice and sailing good woth nice strong wind from south west. We did some shoping in supermarket and also some wine and beer. I wonder.... Why it always empty of wine... How drinks it up all time.... I think we have a wine drinking animal hideing somewere in the cupbord....
On the way we passed through Marstrand. Soo nice place but also crouded of people.. So we just passed.

Vrångö --> Långedrag --> Hyppeln

Yesterday we stayed in harbor all day. Resting after the long transportation over open water. 

Today started 8 o´clock with sailing to Långedrag for a stop for some hours. 

The auto pilot was broken and I tried to repair it but I needed special tools. So I contacted a company specialized in Autohelm/Raymarine products. After a short travel with tram I was there and again after 4 hours it was ok again and I had 200€ less in my wallet.... But I need it so... no choice...

Then we sailed to Hyppeln. 3 hours sailing in nice wind with nice speed. It was tricky navigation around the islands but funny :)

Took a walk and saw a nice house with a boat integrated ))))

Today was my turn to cook so I did a special dish with chicken, pesto, sun dried tomatoes, olives, pasta....
All in same pot )))) Nice boat meal....

Now rain have returned and wind is still hard. But indoors the heater blows nice warm air on my feet and the paraffin lamp lights up the saloon :)

Tomorrow new movement and let´s see where...??? Maybe Skärhamn.... depends on weather....

Getterön --> Vrångö

Yesterday transportation from Getterön to Vrångö. Just as we left the harbor I saw a sailboat in strange angle on wrong place. He was on a place where water is very shallow. He was on the ground and there was heavy waves and 10m/s in wind. I called Swedish Rescue and reported so they did an alarm on the VHF radio for all ships in area. From beginning I did not see any persons on the boat but not any in water ether. They could have fallen when they hit the rocks and maybe unconscious but after a while there was movements. During time they went of with help of the waves and put up sail and my their own make back into harbor.

Then course was set north and wind and waves was quite strong.
Headed Vrångö after 6,5 hours and had a nice evening with friends and BBQ och the dock :)

Vacation )))))))

First day of vacation.
Today perfect weather but to little wind. Engine in combination with sails maked good speed. The sun was  tough and my face is like boiled crayfish )))))
Started 8 o'clock ans took pause in Glommen. Now in Varberg for the night.
Tonight the weather forecast says ran but tomorrow just shallows and maybe thunder but I think it's ok anyway. Tomorrow movement upwards against Gothenburg and Wrångö seems to be a noce target for tomorrow.
